That's all I can say today. I am just replying on all the emails and it makes me feel so
good to see that South Africans are still a friendly nation - no matter where they are
in the world. (apart from two or three "suurknolle")

The last 3 days were quite hectic - all the mails and postings I received and with our
internet server also not playing along. Please forgive me if I left out anybody.

11 Aug 2011 - Saw my old friend Bernard Van Der Vyver. Him and his wife Astrid invited me to
visit them in Driebergen. Looks like the first leg of the program will kick off
in the Netherlands.
I am getting invitations from non South Africans. Amazing!!!!!

15 Aug 2011 - Website maintenance - and I do realize now that Facebook is not the most user
friendly interface when it comes to coding and programming. Will have to see how
effective the trafficking between the web page and the facebook page will be.
17 Aug 2011 - I have never been a Facebook groupie, and now I'm even less of a Facebook
groupie. When you start fiddling around in the coding and programming of
this social network .......whatever you want to call it....you realize that
the interface really sucks. So my mission is not to conquer facebook
programming, but to stick to the original plan - finding SA Expats.
Unfortunately Facebook is a great vehicle for networking. But Mr Zuckerberg
is not my favorite person after 3 days of tinkering around in APIs etc.
Shall I start a new profile?????????????????????????????????????????

1 Sept 2011 - Back from a business trip in Johannesburg. Give me Cape Town anytime.
Now replying to all the mails, messages and new friends.
Must start to organize the first trip to Netherlands. Little time and so much to do.
14 Sept 2011 - The project is growing into a monster - a good monster. So many people interested.

11 Nov 2011 - Well it's been a while since I did a posting in the journal.
A lot has happened in the last month. I was planning on doing The Netherlands
in Nov/Dec, but things turned out otherwise. I had so many invites from America
and Michaela my daughter wanted to go and visit Daniel ( "boyfriend" ) in Minnesota
in December, so I changed the plans and now we are flying on the 25th of Nov
and will be in America till 14 Jan 2012.
Exciting times. I will be doing Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Florida, TN and what ever still
comes up. STATES HERE I COME.
24 Nov 2011 - Well this is it!!!!!!!!
Today is the BIG day. The journey is starting. Flying off to America tonight.
Will start off in Atlanta and then Houston and see what happens from there.

13 Feb 2012 WOW!!!!!! Two and a half months later. Time flies when you'r having
fun. I was so busy running around while being in the States, that I actually did not
do any postings in my log book.
Well I'm back in Cape Town and I am busy editing hours and hours of video
footage.
Must start to plan the next trip!!!!!!!!!!!! Time to travel again.
